- Remove thawed BBQ from package and in a medium mixing bowl separate BBQ into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- In a medium sized sauce pan over medium heat sauté onions until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add green chilies and chili seasoning and sauté, stirring often for 1 minute more.
- Stir in chili beans, tomatoes and brisket. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes.
- To serve, ladle hot chili into bowls and garnish with sour cream, shredded cheese and chopped scallions if desired.
