1. Preheat oven to 400º F.
2. Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
3. Pierce each potato with the tines of a fork and place on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Bake until tender (about 45 minutes).
5. Heat BBQ according to package directions.
6. Make a slit in the top of each sweet potato and season with salt and pepper.
7. Top each potato with BBQ.
8. Add a dollop of sour cream and chopped chives if desired.
