Recipes: Barbecue Pita
Pita pockets are a fun take on the standard barbecue sandwich and the pitas come together in just minutes once the barbecue is nice and hot.
Ingredients
- 4 lb. Byron's Fully Cooked Pork BBQ
- 12 pita pockets
- Leaf lettuce
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Heat BBQ tray according to package instructions. Alternatively, place thawed product in slow-cooker and heat on high for 3-4 hours.
- Cut pita pockets in half. Place 1-2 pieces of leaf lettuce in each pocket.
- Spoon hot BBQ into each pita pocket half. Serve and enjoy!
